Dear Khao Lak friends,

I would like to introduce my resort, Amanusa Resort on Bang Niang Beach, Khaolak. We have reopened in November 2006 and now have 8 rooms [17.9.2007: 11 rooms] for accomodation. Our resort is on the beachfront and is designed using bamboo furniture in the exterior and all natural products on the inside.
We had started building before the tsunami disaster in year 2004. Our hotel was in total 12 rooms and was near completion (about 90% complete) and due to open by 15 Jan 2005, but with the tsunami disaster, everything was destroyed.
Since Khao Lak is such a beautiful, romantic and wonderful place to have a vacation, we decided that we must start our construction again and are very happy to see the tourists come back to Khao Lak. We are very eager to welcome tourists to Khao Lak once again.

Amanusa is a Bali word for "peaceful isle" and that is the description for the area of Bang Niang Beach in Khaolak. We are a natural, cozy resort and have very friendly Thai and English speaking staff. We also have a restaurant/bar facing the sea, also by the name of Amanusa Bar & Restaurant that specializes in Thai Food, Seafood and do offer some European Cuisine on the menu.

The room rates that we are offering is between 2500 and 3000 baht per night with American Breakfast included.
